Asahi is a ceremonial-grade matcha from Kyoto, Japan, crafted from shade-grown leaves known for their depth and richness. Stone-ground in small batches, it retains a vivid green color, a creamy texture, and a luxurious mouthfeel true to Kyoto’s traditional matcha production.
Flavor Profile

Asahi delivers smooth umami with gentle sweetness, balanced richness, and a calm, refined finish. It is full-bodied yet mellow, making it satisfying and approachable for both seasoned matcha drinkers and newcomers.
Preparation

Prepare 2g of matcha with 30ml of hot water at 70–80°C and whisk until smooth and frothy.

Add 170ml of hot water or milk of your choice to finish.

Enjoy hot or iced, depending on your preference
