Hojicha is a Japanese roasted green tea powder known for its warm, toasty aroma and naturally sweet, nutty character. Made from roasted tea leaves and stone-ground to a fine powder, it offers a smooth texture and a caramel-like flavor with no bitterness. Naturally low in caffeine, it is suitable for daytime or evening use.
Flavor Profile

Slow-roasted tea leaves create a mellow, nutty taste with hints of caramel and a gentle sweetness. The flavor is smooth, calming, and free from the sharpness or grassy notes often found in green teas, making it approachable for any palate.
Preparation

Prepare 2g of hojicha with 30ml of hot water at 70–80°C and whisk until smooth and frothy.

Add 170ml of hot water or milk of your choice to finish.

Enjoy hot or iced, depending on your preference
